Bone protection medication for prolonged treatment with zolidex implants
Question
Wwould you advise bone protection medication for a man who has been on hormone therapy (zolidex implants) for 2yrs plus?
Answer
Bone protection, for example bisphosphonates, may be appropriate if a bone densitometry shows the bones to be significantly thinning (as they may well after prolonged Zoladex therapy)
